An era has come to an end. The well-known Tivoli Palácio de Seteais hotel, in Sintra, no longer bears the Tivoli insignia, which it has assumed since 1955. Now, it changes hands and passes to the management of the Valverde Group, which won the public tender for the management of the hotel unit, for the next 30 years. The change of direction took place on January 1, 2024, and over the years of the concession, the new administrators will surgically invest "22 million euros for the conservation and enhancement of the building and gardens. The program will be implemented immediately and will remain uninterrupted until the last year of the concession" assumes the Valverde Group, in a statement.
